Ancona Ducks

The Ancona duck is a hardy and active breed of domestic duck that is well-suited for life on a small farm or homestead. Ancona ducks are known for their unique, mottled feathers and their friendly and energetic personality. They are also great at controlling pests, as they will happily forage for insects and other small creatures. They are active foragers and great layers of white eggs.

 

Ancona ducks come in a variety of colors, including black-white, blue-white, and chocolate-white. We have black-white and chocolate-white on our farm. They are hardy birds that can withstand cold weather and make a decent meat bird. We are working on building up the size and weights in our line. With their friendly personality, efficient foraging abilities, and high egg production, the Ancona duck is an excellent choice for those looking to keep ducks on their small farm or homestead.
